We are a management company managing the hotels on our site. We charge NO FEES to customers - We work closely with the hotels on the website. Your payment to the hotel is made by you directly to the hotel upon check in - you may pay by cash, or credit card. Your credit card details are only used to reserve your room. Top

How do I pay for the booking? [top]
Once you have selected your hotel, click on the button, 'Reserve online'. You will be taken to the booking form, where you will be asked to input information, including your credit card details. Most hotels accept all major credit cards, however, there may be exceptions. You will see on the booking form, where you will be presented with a list of credit card options (drop-down menu), for example: Diners, Visa, American Express, Switch etc. Your credit card details are required to guarantee your reservation ONLY. Your card will NOT be charged until you check in at the hotel - Also, at this point you may pay by cash or with an alternative credit card accepted by the hotel. If you fail to cancel your reservation and do not arrive at the hotel, the hotel will charge your credit card with a cancellation fee - normally equal to the cost of the first nights accommodation. How do I reserve a hotel room? [top]
1. Click Reserve online - Click this button on the hotel's homepage and you will be taken to a booking form.
2. Complete the booking form - You will be asked for various details on the form including, your name, address, room type, dates of your stay, e-mail address and credit card details. It is important that you fill out all the fields. Once you are happy with your details, press 'SUBMIT' button for your details to be sent to visitukhotels.com
z Important - On the booking form, please ensure that your e-mail address is correct. If your e-mail address is incorrectly typed in, we will be unable to respond to your request.
4. Acknowledgment Page - Once you have pressed submit and your details are all correct, you will receive an acknowledgment page. This is an automated process which guarantees that the details have been submitted.
5. Confirmation Email - Once the booking has been received, the room will be reserved, subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation e-mail telling you of your confirmed hotel booking and reminding you of your dates of stay. You will also receive a booking reference number and the address of the hotel your c/card details will be relayed back to you .
Note: If reservation is made between the hours of 07.00 - 19.00hrs GMT, Monday - Friday, you will usually receive the confirmation within 3 hours. If booking is made outside these hours, you will receive your confirmation on the following day. If a booking is made over the weekend between the hours of 10.00 - 16.00hrs, you will receive confirmation within 3 hours .If booking is made outside these hours you will receive confirmation the following day . A Rack Rate is the rate a hotel would offer you if you approached them directly. These are rates, which have not been discounted or contracted by us here at Visit UK hotels. Top

VAT stands for Value Added Tax. All visitukhotels.com rates are inclusive of VAT, unless otherwise stated. This means the rate you see advertised on the website is the total price for the room inclusive of Continental B'fast. Top

Can I book a room without a credit card? [top]
All the Hotels require credit card details (as a form of guarantee) to reserve a room. If you do not cancel the reservation within the cancellation notice period, and you do not arrive at the hotel, the hotel is entitled to charge the credit card for the first night's accommodation only. They will then release the room and sell it to other guests. If the hotels had no credit card details they would risk being left with an empty room and no payment. This is why a credit card is needed - to guarantee the booking . In all cases the hotels require 24 hours notification of cancellation i.e. by the check in time on the day prior to arrival date. Top

Once you have filled out the booking form with your credit card details and we have received those details, we simply pass them on to the hotel, in order to guarantee your booking. The hotel does not charge your credit card, they will carry out an electronic pre-authorization to ensure that the credit card is valid. This is standard room reservation procedure used throughout the world. It is your choice how you wish to pay for your room and this can be arranged with the hotel when you arrive.
