Number Ten is a magnificent 5-star Georgian townhouse located in the city centre with hotel suites in a Chinese style. Located in the most exclusive residential pocket, you will find pure elegance, comfort and excellent service.This grade A-listed building has been completely refurbished to a very high standard throughout. Early arrivals and late departures:If your arrival is early in the day and you would prefer to have immediate access to your room, the hotel recommends reserving also for the prior night to guarantee immediate access. Similarly, for late departures, reserving an additional night will guarantee access until you leave the hotel.

- Pets : No pets allowed in the hotel
- Cards accepted at the hotel : Visa , Maestro , American Express , MasterCard , Diner's Club
- Cancellations : In the event of a no show or a cancellation with less than 3 day notice prior to the date of arrival, an amount equivalent to 100 % of the total booking value will be charged.
- Child Policy : Children upto and including the age of 2 stay free. Children over the age of 2 are charged as adults.
- Policy Comments : The first night's deposit is taken in advance and is non-refundable. No- shows and cancellations made within 72 hours of the check-in date (deemed to be 14.00 h) and thereafter shall be subject to all subsequent nights' charges. In the event of an oversold situation, we shall relocate clients to accommodation of a comparable or better standard (if it is available) at no additional charge to the client. We reserve the right to refuse bookings made for connected parties of 4 or more persons. There is a two night minimum stay period, other than in exceptional circumstances. Easter, Christmas & New Year, Rugby Dates, Highland Show and various other sporting dates: Four night minimum stay. Three night minimum stay over Bank Holiday weekends and in August. Please note that this is a historic Grade-A listed townhouse over 5 floors, without an elevator.

Some of the suites also have kitchens, purely for convenience, because there is 24 hour room service available. The rooms are furnished with Chinese-lacquered wedding cabinets, chests and desks with antique vases and figurines. There is also Kempas hardwood flooring throughout. Getting there |
| Trains: From Waverley Station turn right and cross Princes Street, George Street and Queen Street. Once on Queen Street walk down Hanover Street onto Heriot Row. At end of Heriot Row turn right onto India Street. At the bottom of India Street is Gloucester Place and the hotel. From Edinburgh Airport/Glasgow: Follow signs towards city centre. As soon as you arrive on Princes Street you see the castle on your right - turn left down Charlotte Square. At the bottom, turn right onto Queen Street then take 1st left and 1st left again onto Heriot Row. Turn right into India Street - at the bottom of India Street is Gloucester Place. The hotel is approximately 7 miles from the airport. From Princes Street: Turn onto Hanover Street. Continue until you reach Queen Street then cross and walk ahead as far as Heriot Row. Turn left into Heriot Row and then right into India Street. At the bottom of India Street you will find Gloucester Place and the hotel.
