Gatwick Oriental restaurant is overseen by Ken Hom and serves Far-Eastern fare. Local produce goes into the European dishes served in the modern, informal La Brasserie. La Terrace overlooks the bright atrium and offers light meals and drinks. All-day dining is available in Le Café, which recreates the feel of a Parisian street. Kua bar serves cocktails in an Oriental setting. The hotel has 19 air-conditioned meeting rooms for 2-300 people, with natural light and added break-out space. Getting there
From London Gatwick Airport (LGW):
Distance to Sofitel London Gatwick hotel is 100 metres, approximately one minute's walk.

Getting there. The hotel is connected to the North Terminal by a covered walkway. From the North Terminal it is a two-minute transit ride to the South Terminal.

Getting around. The Gatwick Express train departs from the airport and travels to London Victoria Station every 15 minutes, and travel time is 30 minutes. Single tickets cost 14 GBP. From Victoria, visitors can access the London Underground: the station is on the District and Circle and Victoria lines. Regional train services are cheaper and run to Victoria, stopping at Clapham Junction and East Croydon. Regional trains also run to Kings Cross, London Bridge, Brighton, Bedford, and other locations throughout southern England. Coaches depart to London Victoria and other nationwide destinations from the South Terminal (ground floor). Taxis to London city centre cost about 80 GBP and take approximately 70 minutes. The London Underground (Tube) and buses are the easiest ways to travel within London. Single tickets are expensive, but an electronic Oyster card offers a cheaper fare. Oyster cards can be purchased from ticket offices for 3 GBP (refundable). Daily or weekly travel passes are the most economical way to travel, and are valid on buses, trams, trains, and DLR, as well as on the Underground. Black taxis are available on the streets, but can be expensive. Driving is not recommended for visitors and a congestion charge zone is operated in central London.
