Millennium Dome : Whilst most of the original exhibition and complex has since been demolished, the canopy or shell of the dome still exists, and now houses the The O2, an entertainment district that includes an indoor arena, a music club, a cinema, an exhibition space and bars and restaurants.

The Cutty Sark is a clipper ship. Built in 1869, she served as a merchant vessel (the last clipper to be built for that purpose), and then as a training ship until being put on public display in 1954. She is preserved in dry dock at Greenwich in London, but was damaged in a fire on 21 May 2007 while undergoing extensive restoration.

Getting there |
| By train: take the underground to North Greenwich.
By car from the North:
- Exit the M25 at junction 27 onto the M11 for London.
- Join the A406 southbound, then the A12 for Blackwall Tunnel.
- Once you have gone through the tunnel, the hotel is on the 2nd left (A2203).
From the South:
- Follow A2/A102(M) for Blackwall Tunnel and take the exit marked Greenwich Peninsula (A2203).
