| Lunches and dinners can be taken in the formal, non-smoking dining room supplying a blend of traditional English and modern European cuisines, while pre and after dinner drinks are available in the lobby's traditional-style bar. Numerous shops, bars and restaurants can be found within one mile, as can the city's Grand Theatre, cinema complex and castle in ruins. Buses operate from the city centre to the Gower Peninsula's host of beaches and cliffs (located at five miles), although guests may find cars more useful for this purpose and for arriving from Cardiff International Airport (CWL), approximate driving time to which is 40 minutes and distance is 39 miles. Complimentary parking is available for this purpose. A shuttle bus operates to Cardiff Central Bus Station, adjacent to which is the railway station which operates hourly services direct to Swansea, with a journey time of around 45 minutes. |

Getting there |
| From Cardiff take the M4 and leave at junction 42. Follow signs to the city centre. At the traffic lights after Sainsbury's supermarket, turn right onto the strand, and then, after 700 feet, turn left onto Kings Lane. Continue straight on through the traffic lights and you will see The Dragon Hotel straight ahead at the roundabout. To access the hotel car park, take the second exit and the first left. |
