Getting there |
| A taxi from the airport to the hotel should cost approximately GBP 35. The LBA Airlink 757 shuttle bus goes from the airport, every half hour, to Leeds city centre bus and rail stations. From here a train or coach can be caught to York. York train station is half a mile from the hotel. The historic city centre of York is best explored on foot.
Driving directions: From A64, North & South - Take the A19 (signposted city centre/Selby) following all signs for city centre for approx 2 miles. At the junction with the Mecca building (on the left) take the middle lane past the city walls on the right. Move into the right- hand lane and bear right onto Tower Street at the roundabout with traffic lights. The hotel is straight ahead behind Clifford's Tower. |
