The British Museums holds an entire wealth of collection of Art to Sculpture from all around the world. The collections of exhibitions and artwork number to there thousands spanning from 2 million years of Human History and are the finest and unique which range from the earliest human technology to the Medieval Iron sweltering we have a comprehensive collection of artefacts and factual information which makes the whole visit and inspiring and educational.

The museum houses a substantial compilation of archaeologically excavated finds from across the London Borough of Bromley, with many of the handpicked items on display. These variety in date from the Roman period to the 19th and 20th centuries and comprise together pottery and glass, with excavated finds supplemented by acquisitions and gifts to the museum.

The historical displays include material drawn from the Bank's own collections of books, documents, silver, prints, paintings, banknotes, coin, photographs. There is a display of gold, including Roman and modern gold bars, alongside pikes and muskets once used to defend the Bank. Computer technology and audio visual displays explain the Bank's present day role.

The Design Museum is one of the world's leading museums of modern and contemporary design with a mission to excite everyone about design. Since its foundation in 1989, the museum has won international acclaim for exhibitions on modern design history and contemporary design, for Designer of the Year.

Many famous and much-loved pictures are once again on view for the public to see and enjoy in the new Guildhall Art Gallery which opened in 1999. The original gallery was burned down during a severe air raid in May 1941. The new gallery displays about 250 works of art at a time, with a programme of temporary exhibitions exploring different themes.

In 1917 the Cabinet decided that a National War Museum should be set up to collect and display material relating to the Great War, which was then still being fought. The interest taken by the Dominion governments led to the museum being given the title of Imperial War Museum. It was formally established by Act of Parliament in 1920 and a governing Board of Trustees appointed.

After spending much of her life as a travelling artist, she settled in Baker Street bazaar where she made and sold her famous life-sized wax models. Punch Magazine dubbed her collection of French Revolution relics the now famous 'chamber of horrors'. By her death in 1850 she had achieved tremendous success, having been immortalised by Charles Dickens and Cruickshank.

The National Army Museum is the British Army's central museum. It is located in the Chelsea district of central London, England adjacent to the Royal Hospital Chelsea, the home of the "Chelsea Pensioners". The museum tells the story of the British Army from the time of the Battle of Agincourt to the early 21st century.
